The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF, or the Foundation), a non-profit organization, is the world leader in the fight to eliminate pediatric AIDS. Its mission is to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eliminate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has worked in Cameroon since 2000 through local and established international organizations and presently has an established office in Cameroon.

EGPAF Cameroon is seeking suitably qualified persons able to fill the position of Service Delivery Advisor in the HIV Free project implemented in Centre and Littoral Regions. The overarching goal of the program is to support health facilities, to deliver enhanced, integrated high impact package of sustainable HIV prevention and treatment services for the achievement of HIV epidemic control (the 90:90:90 goals).
The Service Delivery Advisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and monitoring of facility based health services including HTS, HIV Care and treatment, TB, PMTCT, Lab., QI/QC at the EGPAF- Cameroon supported sites.
Service Delivery Advisor Job Key Responsibilities
Lead the Service delivery core team of senior project Technical Advisors and ensure effective collaboration, teamwork and collegiality.
Provide technical leadership in the implementation of the service delivery component of the project.
Coordinate the development and implementation of the project work-plans
Supervise and coordinate the program Technical Advisors- Care and Treatment, TB PMTCT, Lab., HTS/prevention and QI/QC,
Oversee the integration of the project’s specialized technical approaches for the achievement of successful project implementation using the state of the art approaches and best practices
Support in creating and strengthening linkages and networks between facility and community activities
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and other reports as may be required
Collaborate with the other project Team Leaders in harnessing overall integration of the project
Coordinate with the other collaborating implementing partners to maximize synergies.
Required skills and experience for Service Delivery Advisor Job
Medical Doctor with MPH or other master’s degree in a medical field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience providing senior project management to health service delivery in HIV projects
Hands on clinical experience in HIV
Proven experience and familiarity with MOH and devolved health systems.
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, capable of directing and managing change, and inspiring teamwork and motivating staff and partners to achieve results.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and French
Able to work legally in Cameroon as a resident or through a valid work permit
Currently reside in, or be willing to temporarily relocate to Yaoundé, Cameroon for the duration of the contract period
Please note: EGPAF is unable to compensate Service Delivery Advisor for relocation, or per diem costs.
